Business Forum: Recycling Rules

As of August 1, 2017, the City began enforcing new recycling regulations requiring all businesses to recycle metal, glass, beverage cartons, paper, cardboard, and other items. Some must also recycle textiles and organic material. The sanitation forum will take place Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Flushing Community Library, 3rd Floor Meeting Room, 41-17 Main Street, Flushing.

Council Member Peter Koo and the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerceare working with the NYC Department of Sanitation, Crown Container, and the Flushing Library to organize a community forum to educate business owners about the new recycling rules and regulations that went into effect this year. As of August 1, 2017, the City began enforcing new recycling regulations requiring all businesses to recycle metal, glass, beverage cartons, paper, cardboard, and other items. The sanitation forum will take place Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Flushing Community Library, 3rd Floor Meeting Room, 41-17 Main Street, Flushing.
