万通环球保险顾问公司销售经理文浩表示,蓝十字帝国蓝盾健保公司提供的2017“小型集团”(Small Group)健保,适合员工人数在100人以下的企业。该医疗保险与奥巴马健保的不同之处在于,奥巴马健保适合中低收入人士,因为政府给予中低收入人士的补贴(Credit tax)多。但健康且收入高的人士加入奥巴马健保后,可享受的政府补贴较少甚至没有,而每个月须缴交的保费又高,所以令不少健康且收入高的人士不愿意加入。 收入较高的小商业主,若购买这种“小型集团”医疗保险,一方面可以抵税,另一方面企业的营利情况并不需要报告政府,对企业而言比较灵活。它亦如奥巴马健保分成白金、黄金、银、铜等四种计划。月费越高的计划,投保人自付的比例越低,月费越低,投保人自付的比例越高。 文浩提到,因为年轻身体好收入高的人不愿意加入奥巴马健保,加入者多为平时需要看病的人,这样长期下来,造成健保公司的支出大于收入,收入跟不上支出,收支失衡,不少健保公司亏损严重。 另外,旅游保险对出行旅游的人和出国读书的人很有帮助,它承保的范围包括旅途期间因受伤或意外疾病而产生的医疗费用及飞机航班延误等。分成短期计划和长期计划两种。 保险经纪黄达良举例,曾发生一案例,某人在坐游轮时突发肚子痛伴有发烧,在游轮停靠美南巴哈马时,该病人上岸到医院医治,两天后出院并欲返回游轮继续旅行,但游轮拒绝他再度上船,担心他患的是传染病。此人两天的医药费是5万 多元,由于他没有购买旅游保险,所以面对天价的医疗费不知如何是好。 Link to original article here.
