Code But Why – A Collective to Learn Coding
The Tech Incubator at Queens College will host a new collective called: “Code But Why”, every Thursday evening, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The purpose of this collective is for those who want to learn coding with others, in a self-directed and peer-supported environment. This collective is free and open to all who want to learn coding and apply what they learn to solve real world problems. Social Impact Fellowship – Application Open to all Queens College Students, Faculty and Staff
The Tech Incubator is starting a new initiative: “Inventing the Future” (IFI). Their goal is to invite broad participation from entrepreneurs and change makers from the college and the local communities to share their talent and resources, to collaborate, and to jointly tackle the toughest challenges we face and to scale their impact. The Social Impact Fellowship will be the first project under the IFI initiative. Applications run from March 3rd to March 30th, RSVP here.

NYS Business Plan Competition – Regional competition
Register for the NYS Business Plan Competition before April 5th, in this competition, you will pitch your idea in 10 minutes and answer questions from judges for 5 minutes, you will have a chance to win prize money, receive business support, obtain advice, gain exposure and credibility.
