The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce and community members will welcome the new Kumon Math & Reading Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 21, 6pm. The ceremony will kick-off the grand opening of Kumon’s new center at 149-36 Northern Blvd #101 in Flushing, NY 11354.
The grand opening will include a family appreciation night with face painting, light refreshments, games for children, parent orientation, and free placement tests. Hundreds of local children and their parents are expected to participate in this free back-to-school event, which will include community leaders and elected officials.
For more than 50 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. The new Kumon Center in Flushing is a member of the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit association fostering the economic growth, inclusive diversity, and shared prosperity of our community through advocacy, networking, and education.
