Dr. Jack Eichenbaum is New York City’s Queens Borough Historian and has a Ph.D in urban geography. During his teaching years at University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Eichenbaum included walks around the city for his students. These field trips led to Dr. Eichenbaum into constructing walking tours when he returned to Queens as he saw it as a great opportunity and place for it. Now, he does walking tours in Queens for a wide range of audiences. This summer Dr. Eichenbaum is hosting walking tours all over Queens from Rockaway to LIC and more.
