Join donateNYC’s new Pitchfest, “Partnerships to Close the Loop!”

The NYC Department of Sanitation’s donateNYC program is organizing a pitch competition focused on reducing textile waste. “Partnerships to Close the Loop” aims to connect eco-conscious fashion brands exploring ways to reduce their textile waste with creative nonprofit organizations engaged in materials reuse. Participants in this event will be partnering up to put together a joint project pitch that will be judged by a panel of experts. The winners will receive a small seed fund for a joint business-nonprofit project and be featured in a publicity campaign on solutions for textile waste in NYC.

Applications are due February 8th and accepted participants will be notified by February 20th. The event will take place on the evening of March 7th. Apply here and help close the loop of textile waste!
