World’s Fair History Walking Tour

It’s Mother’s Day! Our free tours of famous World’s Fair sites will include buttons, souvenir maps of the 1964 World’s Fair, and chocolate roses for mom.

Hear the stories behind the Unisphere, New York State Pavilion, Hall of Science, Queens Zoo Aviary, Carousel, Time Capsules, Underground Home, the second-oldest outdoor antiquity in NYC, and more at Flushing Meadows Corona Park for the World’s Fair History Walking Tour on May 13th!

Tours take place on the second Sunday of each month through November. Our one-hour tours begin at 11:00 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m.* Meet us at the Unisphere!fmcp

*11:00 a.m. only on April 8.

No registration is required. First-come, first-served. Weather permitting.

Tours are led by Flushing Meadows Corona Park’s volunteer docents.
