Gala Celebration

We Are In It Together!

Join the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce in Celebrating a bright future for our Community!

Help celebrate our fifth anniversary as a multicultural membership association of entrepreneurs, business owners, and civic leaders in the most diverse community in New York!

Our Chamber represents the fastest growing and most dynamic business community in the United States. Attracting firms from around the world – two dozen languages are spoken here – we are already an international trade hub and the fourth largest commercial district in New York. As the center of small business activity in the metropolitan region – 90% of our 9,000 firms have less than 10 workers – we are also the new face of American entrepreneurship.

With your support, we have accomplished much this year – launching Flushing’s first business expo showcasing the best in our community, developing a guided tour program that connect visitors to local businesses, establishing the “Passport to Flushing” food and culture crawl as part of our Flushing Fantastic district marketing campaign, expanding our Greenmarket at Maple Playground, advocating for better transit and infrastructure investment, and providing free marketing workshops and business support services for local entrepreneurs. Join us as we celebrate these accomplishments and more!

We will commemorate the life and legacy of Don Capalbi, who passed away this year after many years of community service, including his leadership as President of the Queensboro Hill Flushing Civic Association, a founding board member the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, and among many other affiliations and achievements. With his friends and colleagues, we will inaugurate the “Don Capalbi Memorial Scholarship Fund” to support local students (especially those with special needs entering college) in his honor.
